Somewhere out there,
I know your heart beats.
Somewhere near, though,
Your heart beats with mine.
Like a divine chord.
Holding us together.
But when I don't see you,
I dream in broad daylight,
Of seeing you.
These dreams make me miss you,
Even more
Like and addict, waiting.
When I do see you my heart jumps!
I want to speak to you!
I want to admire you!
I want to thank God for his beauty
In flesh.
But when up close,
All I do is sit in amazement.
When time to leave comes,
And reality sets in,
I die.
And I return to these feeble pages
Of poetry,
To see you in my dreams.
Somewhere out there,
I know your heart beats.
Somewhere near, though,
Your heart beats with mine.
Like a divine chord.
Holding us together.
But when I don't see you,
I dream in broad daylight,
Of seeing you.
These dreams make me miss you,
Even more
Like and addict, waiting.
When I do see you my heart jumps!
I want to speak to you!
I want to admire you!
I want to thank God for his beauty
In flesh.
But when up close,
All I do is sit in amazement.
When time to leave comes,
And reality sets in,
I die.
And I return to these feeble pages
Of poetry,
To see you in my dreams.
If love could make a flower grow by Springfallendeer, literature
Literature
If love could make a flower grow
If love could make a flower grow,
I wonder how life would be?
How many roses would I come to pass?
What beauty would I see?
Would the streets overflow with daiseys?
Would the land be lush, and pristine?
I wonder how the world might look,
if love could make it green?
Mighty tulips nestled into car trunks.
Sunflowers blooming in the fields.
If our love could make flowers grow,
what beauties would we yeild?
I like think they would be simple lovlies.
Keen on catching every eye.
If our love were like the fertile light,
forever raining from the sky.
You smile and everything’s alright
You scowl and I know they’ll be a fight
You laugh and heaven shines from up above
You look at me that way and I know …
I am in love
